It’s summer time which means the kids are finished with school for three months and are wanting to do something other than sit on the couch and play video games. The warm weather is bringing everyone out of their offices to enjoy the constant Vitamin D. It’s time to pack the car and go on a vacation. Here are five places to go during the long summer months.

1) Cruise

Pack your bags and sail for the Caribbean. There are all types of cruises from family cruises to a Disney cruise. Relax as the constant waves soothe you into a rejuvenating state of mind.

2) Beach

The beach is probably the first thing people think of when wanting a vacation in the summer. And, why not? From Jersey to California, you’ll get a great vacation of sunbathing, surfing and boogie boarding.

3) Camping

Get in touch with nature with a camping trip. Lace up your hiking boots and pack up your tent for a vacation away from all the hustle and bustle the beach may bring. Camping sites are everywhere across the United States. All there is for you to do is pick a destination and get going.

4) Theme Parks

What better way to entertain the kids than to take them to a theme park? Six Flags around the United States, Dorney Park in Pennsylvania and Busch Gardens in Virginia are just some theme parks you can take your kids. And then there’s always the theme park mecca, Walt Disney World, the most magical place on earth. They can ride rollercoasters and water rides all day long.

5) Aquarium or Zoo

If you want to educate yourself and/or your kids, take them to an aquarium or zoo. They’ll learn about creatures all around the world and under the sea.
