Finally, a time your whole family can be together, play together and bond without any interruptions. Whether you are driving in a car, or flying to your destination, it is sure to be a blast! Your vacation is probably filled with many activities or sight seeing adventures, but what about those down times? What should you do when it’s raining, you have an hour to kill, or time in the car or airplane? This is a great time to just talk or play a game.

Great games on vacations can include board games; these are perfect at the cabin or hotel, but are hard to play in a car. The car is the place to play 20 Questions, License Plate Bingo, “Rock, Paper, Scissors”, or have a scavenger hunt. Airplanes will require a quieter game; cards work well – as long as it’s not Slap Jacks- or purchase a travel game (a small board game).

You can never go wrong taking a deck of cards, and a small ball. These fit nicely in a bag, and there are a wide variety of games you can play with either one. Whatever you choose, have a good time, and enjoy your family!
